Filmmaking classes
Class Summary
Children who enrol into Project A Productions will have the opportunity to work in a production crew, where they will be taught aspects of filming from pre-production to post-production. All children will be taught in small groups by a tutor (Studio Executive), who has experience in the film industry, working with children and is DBS checked.
Each production crew class will be centred around around a film topic.
We currently offer two production crew classes to the following age groups:
- Crew One: 6-9 years old
- Crew Two: 10-13 years old
The overall objective of a Project A class is that children will create, pitch and plan their own original film, which follows the conventions/theme of the crew's film topic.
When creating their own film, children will learn how to use equipment that is up to industry standard such as cameras, clapperboards, green screens and tripods.
